Dan Brown's bestseller is arriving in movie theaters all over the world
amidst excitement and (perhaps too much) controversy. The thriller follows the adventures and misadventures of Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor (Tom Hanks) who is wrongfully accused of murder in the Louvre. Thus begins a cat-and-mouse game with a French police inspector played by Jean Reno and various characters tied to a mysterious "Maestro." Aided by a French cryptologist (played by Audrey Tautou of Amelie fame), he must try to decipher a series of clues left by the man found dead in the Louvre.
