You can create up to four hero characters and begin playing. There are around 50 missions to be played right online in multi-player mode with other players. There is currently no single-player mode available. New players start from the bottom rung and with experience work their way up to higher levels.
Battlefield Heroes is graphically very well done. The backgrounds are colorful, the cartoon-style characters professional looking. Even the sound effects are impressive if silly at times (but, then again, this is meant to be a little silly). To play, you'll need to sign up on the site and download the client. The game works with Windows XP and Vista.
