iDeaS
iDeaS is one of the best Nintendo DS emulators out there. It isn't easy to simulate the touch screen experience but iDeaS does a pretty good job. Best of all, there are quite a few classic games available and the program's developers seem to always be making constant improvements.
This program works very much like many of the other emulators. The game is uploaded in .nds format and the fun begins. Obviously, you can configure the video, audio and controller functions using various buttons. In addition, there are plug-ins available with support for Wi-Fi Connection allowing you to film your games in AVI format.
The compatibility with DS games is fantastic. Play games such as Cooking Mama, Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, New Super Mario Bros., Nintendogs, Brain Training, Mario Kart DS just to name a few. Sometimes you'll hit a few snags when it comes to hearing the sound effects but otherwise these games should work just fine. A full list of games is available by clicking on the link below.
