Naac
Naac is a great old-style shoot-em-up created by Bloodymonkey, a team made up of two Italian developers.
The graphics are spot-on - the dark mood is just what the game needs. Even the sound effects heighten the dark and claustrophobic feeling of this gory (not meant for the kiddies) game. There are two levels - Arena and Survive (accessible only once you've completed the first level), which are both equally frenentic. There are seven different types of weapons, and enemies to watch out for include monsters and giant insects.
Naac is definitely worth a go. There are lots of resources on the official site including images, artwork, trailers and wallpapers.
