Prey
Prey is the most anticipated 3D shoot-em-up of 2006. Released in 1996, Prey disappeared a few years later only to be resurrected in 2005 by 3D Realms.
The developers (who also do Duke Nukem) have outdone themselves. Graphically they've reached unprecedented heights with well-designed enemies and breathtaking backgrounds - these graphic artists truly deserve a round of applause. Play is frenetic as in all classic shoot-em-ups.
You can try out the game by downloading the official demo (449 MB) with a whole five complete levels and two multi-player maps for playing online. You'll need a powerful computer in order to use this demo with at least a 2 GHZ processor and 1 GB of Ram. Prey is available for PC and XBox 360.
