Simpsons Arcade Game
The Simpsons: The Arcade Game is the remake of a game that came out in 1991 for various platforms.
It's a 2D horizontal play game with a Street Fighter feel set in - where else? - Springfield. You can choose a character from among Bart, Lisa, Homer and Marge. Each player has special "abilities" (for example, Bart uses his skateboard to stun his enemies). You can also use other objects, such as hammers or hydrants, as improvised weapons to make the game more interesting. There are six levels and they take inspiration from the places made famous in the cartoon.
Graphically, the game is very similar to the cartoon and the sound and musical effects are spot on. A great title that fans of the series created by Matt Groening will certainly appreciate.
You should note that The Simpsons: The Arcade Game is meant to be played in DOS. This means you could have problems with Windows XP and Windows Vista, so we recommend opening the game in DOSBox.
