Webkinz
Webkinz is a game that has caught on with both adults and children in the U.S. It allows you to raise your own virtual stuffed animal. There's an animal for all tastes, from monkeys to dogs to cats to bears and more. Once you've chosen your animal, you must play with it, take care of and entertain it.
Adopting a pet requires a certain amount of KinzCash (virtual money to be used on the site) and thus you are given a budget to start out with. You can earn more KinzCash by playing games or taking quizes, all of which are divided for age appropriateness.
WebKinz is great for small children, allowing them to play, learn and responsibility.
To sign up for Webkinz, you'll be asked for a registration code, which is usually provided by buying one of the Webkinz toys, which are on sale in the U.S. or Canada. Even if you don't own one of the toys, you can still play. Just make up your own code or use Bugmenot, a site that (legally) provides usernames and passwords for various sites.
