This is one of those websites you have to see to appreciate. Words can't do it justice, though Awkward Family Photos is descriptive enough.
This blog features photos from the family album that are cringe-worthy to say the least. Some of the best are from the 1980s (matching sweaters seemed like a good idea at the time...), though there are some bizarre ones, such as the one of a woman hugging a giant cucumber.
Obviously this is all in good fun. And, hey, why not send some of your embarrassing family photos for publication? Lord knows we all have them...
