The tagline of this free service is "let them eat spam." Use Mailinator when you have to sign up for something online and you don't want to use your real email address.
Make up any address by merely adding it to @mailinator.com. To check your mail, you don't even need to sign up. Just go to the Mailinator site and put the name of the address in the "Check the Inbox" box.
