If you publish photos or images on the Web, you may be worried about having them "stolen." In fact, there's nothing stopping people from copying them, saving them and trying to pass them off as their own.
Fortunately there's a free online service called PicMarkr that allows you to quickly and easily add a watermark to your images as a form of protection (obviously this doesn't stop someone from taking the image and using it elsewhere on the Web but at least it will be marked as belonging to you). You can add a tagline, your logo, your Web address or simply your name. You decide.
You don't even need to register. Just open up the site, upload your images (up to five at a time) and decide what type of watermark you'd like. Choose text or a logo, the colors and where to apply the watermark. The process takes all of two minutes. Truly useful!
