Plaxo
Plaxo is one of those Web 2.0 services that has taken the United States by storm but
that has unfortunately not made its way around the world yet. It's a shame. The first
version came out in 2005 and it's currently in its third iteration.
The name of the game with Plaxo is "sharing." Sharing contacts, that is. Plaxo allows
you to create an online address book and calendar. The good thing is that data is automatically updated as your contacts' information is updated so that you'll have current information at all times.
Plaxo is simple to use and can be utilized right from the Web or you can download plug-ins for Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Thunderbird. Joining is free!
