Pwytter
It seems that after joining Facebook, the natural progression for some is to try their hand at Twitter. The problem is that Twitter is a little harder to get up to speed on.
Twitter is confusing to some because it is not a traditional social network and it's not chat. You could say that it's like having a "mini blog" where you post 140-character messages (called "tweets") and see the posts of those you choose to follow.
One thing that can make using Twitter easier is a free desktop client, such as Pwytter. Once you've installed the program, you can post messages and see and respond to others' updates right from your desktop. The software works with Windows, Mac and Linux. To use it, you'll need to already be signed up for Twitter. Happy tweeting!
