Screening Room
YouTube is one of the most popular sites on the Web where one can find videos of all kinds. Anyone can upload his or her videos and make them famous with millions of people. Now YouTube has a section of its site dedicated to featuring films. Called YouTube Screening Room, the idea is to highlight films that have played at major international film festivals (and also films that have not seen wide distribution) but may not have received the audiences they deserve.
Every other Friday, four new films will be featured in the Screening Room. Currently there are some true little gems here, including the animated short I Met The Walrus featuring an interview with John Lennon and The Big Empty with actress Selma Blair. If you are a film buff or even an aspiring filmmaker with something you'd like to submit, you'll appreciate this latest offering from YouTube.
