Adobe Lightroom 3
Download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 in a free fully functioning beta version for a limited time of six months. Having released the new version, the developers decided to open it up to everyone for free for a period.
Photoshop Lightroom 3 is quite different from classic Photoshop. It's not a graphics program in the strict sense of the word but an application for modifying digital photos, creating albums, Web galleries, slide shows and professional presentations. You can't crop photos but you can add special effects, frames, text and adjust luminosity, contrast and other factors so that your photos look their best.
This is a powerful but flexible tool used by photo industry professionals but it's just as useful for your basic digital photographer. Photoshop Lightroom 3 will be available free until April 30, 2010. To download the file, you'll need to sign up on the Adobe site.
