Google Chrome
The browser wars are heating up. Internet Explorer vs. Firefox with Safari and Opera not trailing far behind. Now Google has decided to enter into the mix with its new browser Chrome.
Chrome is still in beta testing but it definitely looks interesting. The interface is incredibly minimalist (perhaps too much so for some) offering a one-box solution for both Web and search pages, thumbnails of your top sites and app shortcuts. Obviously there's complete integration with other "Big G" services, including YouTube, gMail and gMaps.
If you want, you can import your favorites from other browsers. But one thing Chrome doesn't offer is support for skins, so if you are looking for a personalized interface, you won't find it here. It's still early days for Chrome but it's definitely worth taking a look at. Chrome is only available for Windows-based computers.
