Glubble
Glubble is an extension for Firefox that will be much appreciated by parents worried about the things their children see on the Internet. It's a filter to protect minors while on the Web.
Glubble makes Firefox really safe because all of the contents are chosen by the parents. You can put in a list of favorite sites, making those the only sites viewable. Or you can also modify the results of searches done online to make sure that websites with unsuitable content for children don't come up. Glubble changes the interface of Firefox, makng it more immediate, easier to use, more colorful and generally more kid-friendly. Advanced functions are disabled. The nice thing about Glubble is that it can be adapted to the needs of the family, and with a simple click, one can go back to regular Firefox functionality (this is, obviously, available only to the parents).
