iFree Recorder
iFree Recorder is a software program that allows you to record your Skype phone calls in MP3 format. The recordings are high quality and can last for as long as you like.
The program is incredibly intuitive. Once you have it installed, open Skype and then open iFree Recorder. Now you are ready to record Skype2Skype calls, SkypeOut calls, SkypeIn calls or Conference Calls simply by hitting the Rec button. To quit recording, hit Stop. Then decide where you'd like to save the call and the quality level. You can choose the bitrate and though you can start as low as 32 kbps, you'll probably want to stay in the 128 kbps to 256 kbps range as long as you have space on your hard drive for larger files. Obviously, the better the quality of the recording, the larger the file.
You can even decide whether you want to only record one side of the conversation. There are lots of little tweaks you can make to tailor the program to your needs. iFree Recorder works with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Seven and all versions of Skype.
