PeaZip

These days, it's almost impossible to live without compression software. WinZip is the most popular one, but there are plenty of others out there worth taking a look at.
PeaZip is a relatively new offering. It's not all that famous yet, but it's truly quite useful. The main screen allows you to choose right away exactly what it is you'd liek to do, be it open a file or create a new one. The program's interface is simple and immediate. PeaZip is compatible with many different types of formats, and it's also possible to work with 7Z, ARJ, CAB, ISO, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, RPM, TAR and, obviously,
ZIP.
One of the best things about PeaZip is that you don't have to install it. You open the file and can begin using the program right away, making it great for taking around with you on your memory stick. PeaZip is available for Windows and Linux.
