TrakAxPC is a free multimedia creation suite that allows even novices to make professional music and video mixes.
Simply drag and drop audio files and add in special effects or other instrument sounds, such as drums, guitar or piano. Once you have your base track, you can overlay vocals if you'd like by using your own microphone. Beat matching technology means that your tracks can be mixed seamlessly.
The video and photo effects are just as good and allow you to make your mixes even more professional. There are also plenty of special effects, giving you the opportunity to add things such as scrolling text or photo slide shows.
Once you've created your tracks, mixes or mash-ups, put them on MySpace, YouTube or Facebook. Though the program really is quite simple, if you have some experience with editing software, you'll pick it up even faster. The software is free and is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista. You'll need at least 1 GB of free space on your hard disk.
