UltraMixer 2
UltraMixer 2 is one of the most downloaded programs on the Internet - and justifiably so.
As the name suggests, it's a digital audio mixer. A virtual set of turntables that rival those of the best DJs with buttons that allow you to mix and add effects to different tracks. There's even a functionality that replicates the ability to "scratch vinyl." You don't need any particular knowledge of music or computers to use the program, and it's enjoyable for everyone. Various types of files can be "mixed," including MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG and Midi but it's also possible to work directly with songs taken from CDs.
UltraMixer 2 is still a beta release, and on the site there are also Mac and Linux versions.
