VideoSpin
VideoSpin is a free video and photo editor from Pinnacle Systems that allows you to mix videos, photos and music with ease.
You can import clips and cut and remix them however you want. Add background music or subtitles and put everything together scene by scene in a timeline. VideoSpin also has quite a few special effects, which will allow you to personalize your creation even more.
Formats supported include - among others - AVI, DivX, iPod compatible video and MPEG. This is obviously no substitute for some of the more professional video editing programs, but for a free version, it will meet the needs of the average user. To download the program, you'll have to sign up on the Pinnacle Systems website with a valid email address.
